Happy New Year!!

Two thousand nine was one heck of a year and I am truly blessed to have had the privilege to meet and photograph so many wonderful newborns, children, seniors and families.  Looking back on the last year, I’m a little nervous about how I can possibly do it all over again, but I know this year has even bigger and better things in store.  Its been a busy last couple of months so I’ve decided to take the month of January off from scheduling sessions and take some time to relax and reflect, rejuvenate my creative juices and rework the product offerings for the next year.  I can’t wait to share with everyone the exciting new boutique items that will be offered - albums that will make you drool, wall displays that will leave house guests speechless, and maybe even digital files!

While I’m not scheduling sessions for January, be sure to contact me if you’d like to schedule as session for February or March and beyond.  Its never too soon to get on the schedule!

Well, without further adieu, here is my 2009 holiday card (this is a flat version of the trifold card that it is).
Thank you again for making it a year to remember!

It felt like we were doing everything to get this little guy to smile and it just wasn’t working.  His mom and dad couldn’t believe how stoic he was, but I’m thinking it was the crazy wind (notice the fly-away hairs? haha) and all the funny colored things blowing around and on the ground (leaves) that just had him a little out of sorts.  But bottom line is, we got more smiles than we realized!  This is just the beginning, A!

Saturday wasn’t just Halloween and quite possibly the warmest day we’ve seen in months, but it was a great day of sessions with adorable little ones.  We started with Mabel.  I’ve been photographing her since she was born, and man, she is one of those sweetest little ones I know.  We had a blast!

And then she let us know she was done… hehe (check out those eye lashes!)

Last time I saw Patrick he was just a newborn.  He’s done a little growing in the last six months!  And those baby blues!  Almost as amazing as his big brother’s!

Last weekend’s jam-packed, session-filled days came to a conclusion with two of my favorites. Sessions with these two top the fun meter - they keep ME cracking up the whole time, never mind themselves!  I LOVE how they’re always up for trying ANYTHING!  And the fall colors were just what Mom asked for.  I seriously could post their whole session, and just might when they’re done, but for now, I couldn’t keep these to myself any longer!

Like I said, they’re up for trying all my crazy ideas!  K- I think it was worth it! ;)

It was a very busy long weekend for me and my camera!  Saturday, we attempted the beach with these two blue eyed beauties, but the wind just didn’t want any part of us being there.  :(  But who needs the beach when you have a great backyard?

Fun with 5

The weather here in Boston has certainly changed a lot in one week.  Yesterday’s windy high 40s was a little different than last weekends 60s!  But that didn’t stop yesterday morning’s outdoor photo shoot with this amazingly beautiful family of 5!  Check out the fun we had!  We met at the beach and got some fun ones before everyone’s fingers nearly fell off, then played in the leaves at their house.

Are you confused yet as to why the post title is “Fun with 5″ and there are only 4?!  Number 5 is sleeping and we thought it best not to wake the sleeping baby and expect him to smile in 40 degree wind!

But without further adieu… here is number 5 and all his blue-eyed sweetness!

Thanks Z’s for such a fun morning!  (And for the hot chocolate!)
