Gobble, gobble. I mean Happy Thanksgiving!!

I can honestly say I never in a million years thought I’d offer frames. I’m a canvas girl. I just love canvases. Getting into frames just never interested me. Lets face it, I’m a photographer, not a framer.
That was all until I saw The Organic Bloom frames (you may recognize them from People’s article on singer Jewel’s son’s nursery). They are just as stunning as gallery wrapped canvases and I HAD to have them! They come in 62 shapes and 53 colors. The options are endless and so fun! There are even double-stacks and twin double stack options! Complimentary in-home ordering sessions will also be available for clients looking for some assistance in planning out their order and decorating with these frames and/or canvases.
To celebrate this introduction, I’m offering these GORGEOUS frames a la carte at 20% off* through the holidays. (Remember, November 15th is the deadline for holiday orders.) In 2012, I’ll be adding them to collections.

Yes, its that time of year again… that time when I introduce super new holiday card designs for you to select after your fall session and leave you thinking “How can the holidays actually be just a few months away, AGAIN?” (Sadly, last year’s cards never made a public debut on the blog, but if you’d like to see ALL your options that include all the designs from year’s past, click here.) Here are the designs for this year – fun, flat cards (that look awesome printed on pearl paper!) with room for a large photo that can even be put in a frame for the rest of the year!
P.S. The availability left for this holiday season is very limited. Current openings, subject to change at any time, are Sept 18, Sept 24 evening only, Oct 15 evening only, Oct 23 evening only, Nov 12. Any 2011 session images can be used for holiday cards with no minimum order required. All holiday orders must be placed by November 15th to guarantee holiday delivery.
Two thousand nine was one heck of a year and I am truly blessed to have had the privilege to meet and photograph so many wonderful newborns, children, seniors and families. Looking back on the last year, I’m a little nervous about how I can possibly do it all over again, but I know this year has even bigger and better things in store. Its been a busy last couple of months so I’ve decided to take the month of January off from scheduling sessions and take some time to relax and reflect, rejuvenate my creative juices and rework the product offerings for the next year. I can’t wait to share with everyone the exciting new boutique items that will be offered – albums that will make you drool, wall displays that will leave house guests speechless, and maybe even digital files!
While I’m not scheduling sessions for January, be sure to contact me if you’d like to schedule as session for February or March and beyond. Its never too soon to get on the schedule!

P.P.S. Wondering “What the heck is a Gallery Wrapped Canvas anyway?!” Since I don’t have a sample yet, I can’t show you! (See my dilemma?) A quick description is: a high quality print on artist canvas, the canvas is stretched over custom made 1.5″ deep wood supports and the image wraps around the edges of the support frame, the final product is stunning without the distraction of a frame as they appear to “float” on your wall. Hi all, I’m so happy everyone is having fun with the contest and just wanted to dispel any concern that the contest might not be fair. I assure you, it is as far as it gets. The family of the girls in photo #1 have a website with 3,000 followers and posted the link on there, so the large number of votes are real. I’ve always LOVED getting mail and packages! So much so, the mailman couldn’t wait for me to move out of my parents house because it meant less work for him! But this week FedEx and UPS paid a few visits bearing gifts – the samples I ordered of products I’ll be offering in the new year (and before!). Check them out!
