One of the reasons I have a photography business is to help families capture memories they’ll have forever. And because I’ve seen people regret not getting a family photo and just have our session be the kids, I always make strongly encourage parents to jump in for at least ONE image. But after reading this article last week I’ve decided to make it a new mission of mine to help mom’s photographing their kids jump into photos and I hope you’ll join me…

During a senior session today, there was a mom at the park we were at photographing her little boy and I offered to take a photo of her WITH her son. And so that is the start of my new mission – to begin offering to take a photo of all the mom’s I see photographing their kiddos, WITH their kiddos.

I hope you’ll join me! Please share this with others and even if its taking a photo of a mama with her cubs on a cell phone, it’s one more picture she’ll have. If dad is the photog, photograph him. It’s all about helping people create memories, one frame at a time. They may seem insignificant or less than perfect today, but I assure you, one day, they will be priceless perfection.
