On this rainy start to April, I’m reminding myself we WILL have nice weather for family portrait sessions soon enough. The best way to do that? Share the images I took while in Florida, where the sky was blue, the flowers were blooming and the kiddos enjoying the outdoors.

A little background on this location… I first visited it 5 years ago. I was on vacation with family, no kids, no camera, but visions in my head of these gorgeous images. The light in this location, with the architecture and greenery was a children’s photographer’s dream come true. The only problem: I was missing the kids and my camera!!  So five years later, I planned ahead with these beauties and the resulting images are everything I hoped for!

The VERY best part? I got to see a childhood friend I hadn’t seen in (cringing…) 20 years and meet her beautiful children. 🙂

I’m also thinking next time we visit, I might need to plan some mini sessions! This location is perfection!
