The struggle was real this morning… I woke up feeling rested, and thought, “okay, it’s a new day.” I’ll spare you the toddler tantrum details – I’m sure you know them well – but, soon I was physically and emotionally as exhausted as I was went I went to bed the night before and it was only 7:30 a.m.
Ironically, my favorite morning podcast mentioned that research has shown “revisiting past memories in the present is one of the best ways to make yourself happier.” After taking a brief mommy time out for myself, I did just that. Oh, how I love photography.
